Recycle and trade your junk in Central Oregon
One man's junk is another man's treasure. Usually you'd have eBay for something like this, but what if you just want to get rid of it, and it's something that would be better off gotten rid of locally? Bendites now have a solution. From their site: SWAP is designed to promote reuse of materials in Central Oregon. It is a free and convenient way for individuals and businesses to exchange reusable or surplus products and prevent them from ending up in the dump.
Do you have used plastic buckets, glass jars or wood pallets collecting dust in your garage? Place a listing on SWAP for reuse by someone else.
Are you looking for used building supplies, packaging material or fabric scraps? Search our SWAP database. We may have what you are looking for and then some. I have some excess stuff that I think I might just end up listing on there. The hard-to-find search screen is here.

yoleen said on 02/10/04 @ 10:54 PM: I have a listing on this site. I make candles from recycled wax, so hey, Jake, point your viewers my way. When a candle is finished burning, there's usually a little left over, and instead of putting it in the garbage and eventually into the landfill, put it in a bag, save a few of them, and then contact me. I make hand-dipped tapers, a very classic candle, from the recycled wax. Currently you can find my candles at Blue Spruce Gallery in the Old Mill District, or you may email me. I've been making candles for three decades, and am just now beginning to make my living by doing it. Starting a business is a little scary instead of just working a job, but I think it's the way to go.

What are you doing down here? Don't you have something better to do? Like Go Back To The Top of the page, or even see who created this site? This site is © 2001 - 2012 by the Utterly Boring folks at UtterlyBoring.com. Steal my content, as I probably did, too, just link to my site or the original site. Batteries not included.
