This is why I hate the folks in Government

Oregon's unemployment is high, there's no money for anything because it's all being spent on The War, but lawmakers can still find it in themselves to give themselves a pay raise. Bastards.

I remember when the local council members down here in Eugene gave themselves pay raises as well. With schools closing and jobs being lost, it's pretty sick to read about stuff like this.
