UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and Ad Designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. At least one tobacco company is honestLicensed to Kill, Inc. is a tobacco company that was officially incorporated in Virginia on March 19, 2003. And they're brutally honest: "We knowingly kill people for profit. And we're proud of it. In fact, it is the explicit aim of our corporation." Granted, the domain was registered by Essential Information, a Ralph Nader groups, so it's obviously meant to be humorous. But they're still getting media coverage, just the same.
