Ex-sheriff embezzler still due full retirement pay

This just goes to show you how messed up Oregon's government is, and it's no wonder we're broke. Former Deschutes County sheriff Greg Brown was convicted a few months ago and will serve a 33-month federal prison term for embezzlement. He stole about $250,000 from the people of Central Oregon. And he's still eligible for public employee retirement benefits (or PERS for you folks within Oregon).

This is nuts! And what really gets me is that after he served his term, this deceptive parasite go's back to central Oregon, only now to Bend, and gets hired and the Site Director of Operations by TRG Customer solutions... formerly iSky. Funny that a call center who undoubtedly handles inbound sales calls amongst other things would hire someone with a such a background to such an elevated position of authority... and financially influential accessability...

Things that make ya go Hmmm
