"Toe Food, what the hell is that?"

Central Oregon business hero and tire-man Les Schwab is a funny old man. For years they have run their "free beef" promotion, and, honestly, the meat they give out is some of the best beef you'll ever have (my dad knows the butcher that provides the meat for the chain-wide promotion, and gets beef from him -- damn fine steaks right there).

Not to be out-down, the owner of Paul's Bicycle Way of Life in Eugene has been spoofing the annual promotion with a "Free Tofu" ad.

Les' response: "‘Toe Food,’ what the hell is that? I’ve never heard of it.”

Full Story in the Salem Statesman Journal (a newspaper that I used to work for, who wouldn't have news online if it weren't for me, but that's another blog post entirely).
