UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and Ad Designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. He has LinkedIn, MySpace, Facebook profiles if you're trying to stalk him.

Re-doing the site -- utterlyboring.com coming soon
I'm in the process of moving the entire site over to PHP, and to get it onto a new template that will be easier on the eyes, easier to make changes to, and easier to download and navigate. To see how things are going so far, click here. I'm in the process of converting the archives, etc... to the new format, and make everything PHP and CSS friendly, and making two seperate sites for things: all personal stuff (resume, portfolio, etc...) will be posted at JakeOrtman.com. This blog, which will be still updated daily, will be posted at UtterlyBoring.com (or utterlyboring.com/blog for those of you that have it bookmarked already). One of these days I'll get a functional hosting service at orty.com -- just need a few more hours (read: days) on my hand.
