What a busy day -- yet a really sad one, tooA co-worker of mine left a message with our company answering service that she wouldn't be in to work today, but left no details. Then somebody else called in sick. It made today a really busy day because we were already understaffed, but it made it even worse when I found why the co-worker wasn't going to be in today (or for the forseeable future, for that matter): her roommate died in a car crash yesterday, and her passenger was injured as well. Gotta be careful on that pass, folks. Even if you're driving 25-mph, the ice will still throw you. I know they were driving safe, but sometimes that ice will come out of nowhere (especially on that pass), and it's sad that it happened. May she rest in peace. No Comments YetPost a comment |
