My Laptop is Here
So don't bug me :-). I'm in the process of setting it all up, so don't expect much from me until tomorrow when it will hopefully be 90% setup.
Like I said before, if you're looking for a good deal on a notebook, e-mail me.

I wanted to use the date naming download but my computer warned about it being infected. Would you reassure me it isn't?
Thanks

R Wenner said on 08/23/09 @ 07:42 AM: Can you off the off chance recommend a site where a luddite senior citizen can go to learn how to make her Harman kardon Soundsticks II setup work again? When I moved I plugged them into the CPU and they are dead. I checked all connections as per instructions; nada. I then got visiting step-son (who understands these things) to see connexions OK, still total silence, for 8 months now. He said seek help online. I went to the Harman Kardon website, but you have to pay online to get somebody to e-mail you directions, which i will be hopeless at understanding; and no guarantee their advice is gonna work anyway. Do you know of a free troubleshooting website I can go which won't charge me money to make these expensive & totally useless if cool looking warts on my computer work? I never would have bought them except my step son (who doesn't live near) said they were a good buy on sale. they worked perfectly until I moved, but they were carefully packed and they light up they way their supposed to, but no sound other than a crackle when I put the plug in or out of the CPU.
Yours with despair and disgust,
RW
