UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. A Lord of the Rings encyclopediaEverything you've ever needed/wanted to know about the Lord of the Rings or other works by J. R. R. Tolkien can probably be found at The Encyclopedia of Arda. Tolkien creature), elves etc name and everything there. Its great if you study J.R.R. Tolkien or something, but its a bit scary how much work the people dedicate to it. You probably could find the color of an elves boogers if you look long enough.
